On April, 10, 2021, Governor of Murmansk Region, Andrey Chibis, examined the 4-seater fixed chairlift and the system of artificial snowmaking installed at Specialized Alpine skiing Sports School of the Olympic Reserve in Kirovsk. The project was carried out within the framework of the national project «Demography» and the regional program «Creation of equal conditions to exercise sports for all communities».

With all commissioning works completed and tests carried out, the facility was confirmed as 100% ready and certified by the Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service of Russia. The Governor personally tested the chairlift in operation. The opening is scheduled for late April.
