Ski tourism is surely an attractive sport and profitable business. However, it can also expose the Client to the increased risk of injury while skiing, snowboarding, or tubing at a ski resort. In this case, the entrepreneur is responsible for the guest’s health. Article 4 «Quality of Goods, Works and Services» of the Russian Federation Law «On protection of consumers’ rights» regulates these relations. According to the abovementioned article, Sellers (producers, providers) shall market goods (shall transfer the results of completed work, shall render services) to the consumer in conformity with the obligatory requirements concerning quality standards, routine requirements, and in conformity with the information about the goods (works, services) provided by the sellers (producers, providers). Non-conformity with this requirement may lead to administrative or even criminal liability of the entrepreneur.

How can we reduce the risk of injury at existing tracks and provide legal protection for the entrepreneur in case of Client’s injury while skiing?

The solution is the project «Organization systems for safe skiing» by Alp Project LLC (SNOWPROM Group).

The project contains several elaborate chapters describing engineering and organizational measures for ensuring safety on ski tracks in accordance with SNiP and GOST of Russia. The chapters of the project are as follows:
