The solemn opening of «Bogatyrek» complex took place on the 18th of December, 2020 in Kamensk-Uralsky. The complex for practising Olympic sports (skiing and snowboarding) is located in the heart of the city, only 300 meters from the central square.

«Bogatyrek» presents three routes longer than 301, 285 and 221 meters, complete with surface lift, artificial snowmaking system, lightning towers, administrative and residential blocks, within walking distance from the city center, in a very picturesque place.

Chairman of the Russian Federation of Ski Sports and Snowboarding, Leonid Melnikov, Deputy of the State Duma Lev Kovpak, top society, oldtimers of mountain skiing from Kamensk-Uralsky, mountain skiing and snowboarding students, representatives of subcontractors and «SNOWPROM» specialists visited the official opening.

Due to «Bogatyrek» complex construction, two types of sport — mountain skiing and snowboarding — received facilities and resources for future development. The ski complex infrastructure will allow students of MAO «Kamensk-Uralsky Sports School» implement the training programs on mountain skis, snowboarding, biathlon and cross-country skiing. New facility of this level is a great opportunity to involve citizens in winter sports.

It took one year and a half to build the sports facility at the expense of city treasury funds.
